GHASHANG KAMKAR
Ghashang Kamkar was born in 1953 in Sanandaj. She began to play the Setar and the violin very early. Her performance was influenced greatly by Mohammad Reza Lotfi. But she also studied the Setar with the greatly missed master Saeed Hormozi. Currently She teaches the Setar in Tehran to a great number of musician. She also is an active member of the Kamkar group, formed by her seven brothers and her son.
